On teacher's day 33200 sweets were to be equally distributed amongst a certain number of children. But on that particular day 80 children remained absent hence each child got 2 sweets extra. How many children were originally supposed to be there?

Explanation :
Let the original number of children be x.
3200/(x-80) - 3200/x = 2
=> 3200((x-x+80)/(x(x-80))) = 2
=> x(x-8) = 1600 * 80
=> x(x-80) = 400(400-80)
=>x = 400
