    Explanation :

    If Sarita's present age be x years, then

    Kavita's present age = 2x years 

    After eight years,

    2x+8/x+8 = 22/13

    => 26x + 104 = 22x + 176

    => 4x = 176 - 104 = 72

    => x = 18

    ∴ Kavita's present age = 36 years
